IFAS Treatment

Our Aim This is an alternative treatment for the relief of pain which is delivered by a community health worker. It aims to stimulate healing by administering a low electrical current onto the surface of the affected body area. To find out more visit www.ifas.com.au.

Objectives

• The IFAS apparatus provides a safe and ready means of applying High Frequency Electrical Treatment by simply plugging into the power circuit;
• The intensity of the output current can be controlled by the turn of a knob to suit individual requirements;
• The treatment can be applied directly onto the skin, when no electrical effect whatsoever is felt;
• Or through clothing, producing a flow of small sparks causing a tingling sensation which many users prefer;
• Or by holding the Saturator Electrode while another person gently massages the affected area. This last method is widely used for the treatment of Alopecia (baldness);
• All methods produce a warm, soothing effect and rapid relief for most ailments.
• This will stimulate the blood circulation and dispel the pain and discomfort without the aid of drugs.

Eligible Clients

• This service is open to all turoro except for those who have heart pacers.
