Health Promotions – Aukati Kaipaipa

Our Aim Aukati Kaipaipa is a comprehensive smoking cessation programme aimed at Maori wahine aged 18 years and over and their whanau. This programme is available to both individuals and groups and delivered by trained quit coaches.

We acknowledge the clients Code of Rights and abide by these rights while providing our services. We strive to provide the highest quality service and support for people in their effort to quit smoking and maintain a smoke free lifestyle. Why not start now?

Objectives

• Assessment of participant;
• Education, awareness and preparation to quit;
• Nicotine replacement therapy consisting of patches and gum;
• Ongoing support via telephone, home visits, one to one consultation or group consultation.

Eligible Clients All whanau, iwi and hapu of Te Hiku O Te Ika.
